OPERATION VICTORY GARDEN

Announcing: OPERATION VICTORY GARDEN - Everyone with any sort of place to grow food, be ready to put big gardens in this spring. The big corporations control the food supply, and therefore control you. Good news is good food is easy to grow and there’s not a single reason why anyone should go hungry in this country or be stuck eating the corporate crap they’re feeding everyone.. You can grow veggies in the ground, in garbage bags, bales of straw, trash cans, let it grow. Learn how to do it now while you still can and start planting cold weather crops as early as possible in the late winter. Urine mixed with water is a great organic fertilizer. Learn how to start plants from seeds and save seeds. Raise chickens if you can, free eggs. Can stuff, give to your neighbors, barter with each other, sell it cheap on the side of the road if you can get away with it and undercut the stores. Free food for all. Stop buying, stop shopping. Pass it on, tell your family at thanksgiving dinner, tell your friends and neighbors. It’s time to take back control of our food supply from the likes of Monsanto, Tyson, Archer Daniels, and others.

More information and a page dedicated to this operation coming soon. It’s time to occupy the food production and take it back from Wall Street.

occupycountrywide:

We are at a crossroads. Access to jobs, homes and resources are dwindling. Our right to peacefully gather to discuss what to do about it is aggressively being fought by nationwide police coordination. It is a decisive moment on this planet. One option is to keep being occupied with our daily grind and individual struggles. Or we can take control of our collective destiny and design a future worth living. Worth waking up in the morning for. Worth defending. Worth birthing new life into. This movement is not centrally controlled which is what makes it yours. You create it. You bring your talents, your time and your resources. This is the platform for our Big Ideas. This is the place to find challenges worthy of your passion. Worthy of your life. What is our one demand? You. With strength in numbers there is no limit to what we can do. We need to continue to occupy Wall st. Occupy your street. Occupy this country. Occupy our world. Occupy our future. Occupy Now.

System Failure

Dear Humans,

Your system is imploding all around you. You’ve already drained the planet of all the easy to get availible resources and poisoned much of the water, you’ve destroyed the fields with chemicals and corporate farming and nothing will grow in them without more chemicals. The numbers of homeless and jobless are swelling everyday and the agencies to take care of these people are like a microcosm of the planet’s resources already tapped out and it’s not even winter yet. Your psycho politicians and leaders are getting ready to start a nuclear WWIII. Those who still have theirs are more materialistic and greedier than ever but the wrecking ball sweeping the country and the world is headed their way too.

You’re a failed society, the protestors and out of control police forces are just a symptom of the systematic failure of your system. So here’s the deal earthlings, you’ve got two choices…

You can destroy each other and finish destroying the planet out of frustration and just end it all, or you can start working together and helping your fellow humans and create a new enlightened world where greed and profits aren’t put above humanity, nature, and the planet you live upon. The choice is up to you, don’t make the wrong one.

Welcome to the new Aeon, peace and infinity.

We’re all born wanting the freedom to imagine a better and more beautiful future. But modern America has become a place so drearily confining and predicable that it chokes the life out of that built-in desire. Everything from our pop culture to our economy to our politics feels oppressive and unresponsive. We see 10 million commercials a day, and every day is the same life-killing chase for money, money, and more money; the only thing that changes from minute to minute is that every tick of the clock brings with is another space-age vendor dreaming up some new way to try to sell you something or reach into your pocket. The relentless sameness of the two-party political system is beginning to feel like a Jacob’s Ladder nightmare with no end; we’re entering another turn on the four-year merry-go-round, and the thought of having to try to get excited about yet another minor quadrennial shift in the direction of one or the other pole of alienating corporate full-of-shitness is enough to make anyone want to smash his own hand flat with a hammer.

Rilke Panther: A better way to protest »

rilkepanther:

I’m horrified by the stories and images of police abusing protesters. But, I can’t help but think that there should be better ways to do this. A more artful attack than brute force land occupation with arbitrary rules hanging over our head for them to pettily enforce. We shouldn’t have to get…

It's Official: Wall Street Has Become a Religion »

mbalton:

New York - The international financial industry now controls Heaven as well as Hell. After years of behind-the-scenes maneuvering and back room deals, Wall Street officially became a major religion of the world this morning.

With a hierarchy mirroring that of the Catholic Church, Worship Wall Street now fully rules over the financial district, which has been deemed as its sovereign territory.

In a secret ceremony in which bond receipts were burned in a “bondfire of the vanities,” Lloyd Blankfein, CEO and chairman of Goldman Sachs, was elected Pope.

“This will teach those OWS punks to mess with us,” His Holiness said. “Occupy Wall Street is just a movement. Worship Wall Street is a religion with direct connections to the Almighty as well as to the almighty dollar.”
